Our thoughts are with those who have lost a loved one

Tributes to former Boro player and Hartlepool FC manager, Alan Murray, are among those being paid to loved ones in The Gazette deaths and funeral notices this week. Announcing the passing of a loved one in local news media is a long standing tradition and we are proud of the trust placed in us to make these important announcements. Every notice published to our newspaper and news site also appears on funeral-notices.co.uk - the UK’s number one site for death notices and memoriams. Every notice remains online forever providing friends and families with a lifelong tribute to their loved one, a safe place online to share memories, add tributes, photographs and make donations in memory. Each week we pay tribute to the loved ones remembered in our area with a funeral notice and online tribute page. To read the latest announcements and add tributes to those from our area who have passed away, or to create a funeral notice yourself, click here . Alternatively, you can create a notice by calling our helpful team on 01482 908084. Here are a selection of notices published earlier this week. Marske Coop Funeralcare Josephine Bellerby (Davies) (Jo ) In loving memory of Jo Bellerby 28/09/1948 - 09/07/2023 How come it's you who flew above with me below, mostly in your shadow? How come it's you with the personality, with me; the sort of shy guy? How come it's you with all the drive, with me along for the ride? How come it's you; my inspiration, with me; a sort of exclamation? How come it's you who had it all with me looking to fall? How come it's you; the one I love? How come it's you who flew above? Always in my heart. Your loving husband Brian. Lesley Karen Moody (WAUGH) In memory of my beautiful partner Lesley who sadly passed away 1 year ago on 8th July 2025. You will forever remain in my heart and always in my thoughts. Thank you for the treasured time we spent together. Your ever loving partner Graham.
